I think the article addressed this issue, the US dollar won’t be completely replaced, but a 2nd currency that is commodity backed and comes in the form of a crypto currency using block chain technology with the BRICS countries supporting it.

Those BRICS countries will represent at least 50% of the world commodity output and over half the world’s population.

If this happens the dollar will lose a major portion of it’s attractiveness
