Hope in Jesus, yes it’s true. He is our only hope.

Hope in Redemption. Do not put your hope in fallen, dead creation.

As good as America is, it is still subject to fallen and dead creation. It is "under the sun" (Ecclesiastes).

Trust and hope in Redemption by the blood of the Lamb and Divine Providence is what made America great while trust and hope in fallen , dead creation and man and his government is what will destroy America sooner or later.

Thus says the Lord:

Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Jer. 17:5-8.

Where is the Hope?

Out of reach of those who are of like mind of the author of the article -- watching all of those "other people" like a hawk. No wrongthink escapes their judgment.

It's like what King David knew when he had to pick a punishment:

2 Samuel 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

Wonder what pestilence ["דבר"] befell the 70,000. Perhaps they lost all hope. Well, better than if the entire population had been so afflicted, by the beatdown of men, who came to help.

An interesting intersection of concepts, too, because an enlarged letter ayin ("eye") in the pattern of the expanded (x1000) letter values would mean that 'ע

= 70,000

🤔
