“Puh-lease, if you’re going to comment on a Jerusalem temple thread, please read the Good Book.”
I have read the Good Book. When Jesus was crucified, the temple veil that shielded the Holy of Holies was rent from top to bottom. Now, no priest is needed. The temple worship was finished. The Romans destroyed the building. God now works through the church, not the temple.
If there is a building put up, it will not be sanctioned by God. That is not in the Good Book.
“ “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.”
Acts 2.
Yes. But even though God doesn’t need a new temple for sin sacrifice, the Jewish people will build a new one in opposition to God’s will, but He will work through that to accomplish His perfect will.
God has done that time after time…
