FATHER GOD,

We pray this Psalm on behalf of President Trump, the January 6 political prisoners, and all who are being targeted for standing in Truth.

O GOD, have mercy on me, for people are hounding me. My foes attack me all day long. I am constantly hounded by those who slander me, and many are boldly attacking me. But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. I praise GOD for what He has promised. I trust in GOD, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

They are always twisting what I say; they spend their days plotting to harm me. They come together to spy on me—watching my every step, eager to kill me. Don’t let them get away with their wickedness; in your anger, O GOD, bring them down.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.

My enemies will retreat when I call to You for help. This I know: GOD is on my side! I praise GOD for what He has promised; yes, I praise the LORD for what He has promised. I trust in GOD, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

I will fulfill my vows to You, O GOD, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for Your help. For You have rescued me from death; You have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in Your presence, O GOD, in your life-giving light. (Psalm 56)

FATHER GOD, the evildoers know their time is short. We the People are awakening to the Truth about their corruption and lawlessness. We cry for justice for all the lives that have been taken or destroyed through wicked schemes, Covid-19, senseless wars, crooked elections, and the prosecution of innocent people. Give back the freedoms that were stolen from us by these people.

Comfort the families who lost loved ones, livelihood, and property in the recent storms. May the church arise to help them start over. May they look to You, LORD, for You keep track of all their sorrows. You have collected all their tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.

Protect President Trump, MAGA candidates and rally attenders as the 2024 election draws near. In the name of JESUS we rebuke, take authority over, cancel the assignments of the domestic terrorists that are wreaking havoc in colleges and cities across the nation, and command them to leave America, never to return. May Your SPIRIT be poured out upon all people. Fill our nation with brotherly love.

As we contemplate Your Command:

“Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14),

Let us pause to consider the words “then” and “if”. You declare in the preceding Verse:

At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you (2 Chronicles 7:13).

Is this what it will take for Your people to return to GOD? We can’t ignore the “if” which means it is up to us to fully repent and turn to You.

Convict the backslidden, rebellious, indifferent, uncaring, sleeping, timid, and fearful believers. May we arise as Jethro did when the angel of the LORD spoke, “Rise up, mighty man of valor,” as he was hiding in a haystack. May we reflect the fearlessness of the Psalmist and confidently say, “But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. I praise GOD for what He has promised. I trust in GOD, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4)

Bless, protect, and prosper the Robinson family and Free Republic. Thank You this is a haven for freedom loving people.

Orthodox Great and Holy Wednesday

On Great and Holy Wednesday, the hymns of the Bridegroom Service remind us of the sinful woman who poured precious ointment on Christ’s head at Simon the leper’s house (Mt. 26:7).

The disciples complained about the wasteful extravagance, for the myrrh could have been sold and the money given to the poor. On this same day Judas agreed to betray the Lord for thirty pieces of silver. Because the betrayal took place on Wednesday, Orthodox Christians fast on most Wednesdays during the year.
