It is a bit ironic that MacArthur is preaching on “seeking the Lord while he may be found”. As a Calvinist, John believes that God chose his own in eternity and there is nothing anyone can do about it. He also believes that mankind is totally depraved and has no ability or inclination to seek God at all.
So how sincere is John’s message?
