I got a better idea how about the republican party giving us a good runner for the senate. Rick Lazio a nobody from the middle of the state who hid from the press against the most popular democrat next to Al Gore running in a state that is controlled by the democrats.

Oh yea it was the voters fault.

Short memory? I thought Rudy Guliani was gonna be the candidate, but before he officially declared, he backed out due to prostate cancer. Lazio was a last minute substitute. Hardly a reason to bash the Republican Party - when there are so many more valid reasons to do so ;-)

Anyone who can't see through Hitlery is, in my opinion, not quite up to the level of Homo sapiens. Thus, yes, it is the voters' fault. You get who you vote for. The eight years of The Toon's administration (particularly the last four years) are, sadly, an indictment of this nation.

Rick hid from the press? I certainly saw him a lot on TV. Hillary didn't hide from the press, but she certainly didn't answer any hardball questions either, not that she was asked!

There is also the question of a little thing like voter fraud that is hidden on the back pages of little know papers.
