I agree with you 100%. Why waste time getting upset about such. President Bush did nothing to cause things to turn out the way they have. THAT'S LIFE!!!

My letter to Trudea:
Hey, Mr. Trudeau,
Your exercise of free speech and artist expression has inspired me. The George Bush thanking evildoers strip has moved me to cancel my subscription to the Dallas Morning News (which carries your strip), informing them that your strip is the reason why.
That bit of free speech was so invigorating, that I've gotten kind of addicted to it. Now I need to get one or two other people a week to do the same thing.
Thanks,
Bill
And, my letter to the Dallas Morning News:
Mr. Trudeau just inspired me to cancel my subscription to the Dallas Morning News.
You already deem his rants to be "opinion" by running them on your editorials pages. Well, it's certainly your contitutional right give people like Trudeau a platform.
And, it is certainly my constitutional right to refuse to purchase your product any longer, because you give people like Trudeau a platorm. My subscription dollars won't contribute to that folly any longer.
And, it's also my constitutional right to persuade every person in my circle of acquaintences -- at work, at church, in my neighborhood, in the civic organizations I work with, to do the same.
Mr. Trudeau's platform just got smaller by one subscriber. It is my fervent desire to duplicate myself in this regard as many times as I can possibly figure out how to do.

Uh, Skooz, I think you forgot to list a few:
Bill, the scum, Clinton Hillary, the witch, Clinton James, the slut, Carville Babs, the "little people", Streisand Alex, the stoner, Baldwin
Just to name a few that are even lower than the drugged out Trudeau.

Please send this comment to your local newspaper. It's on the money:
I wonder if he did a similar strip with Clinton thanking Timothy McVeigh...probably not.

"Actually, Clinton was quoted on AirForce One as being happy that the OKC bombing happened. It helped his "agenda". Sad, isn't it? "

I checked my comics section to see if they printed this piece of s#!t. They did. What a coincidence that my bad cat just pooped on my couch again. Now I know what to clean it up with.

I checked in my paper (Sacramento Bee) and found that for whatever reason they did not print the first two frames of the cartoon ("Is it still unpatriotic to criticize me?" and "Cool, this is great!"). They did keep the "Thanks, evildoers!" line though. Did anyone else's paper edit the comic strip?

No, the most remarkable thing about Trudeau is that he all but IGNORED anything ahem, untoward, committed by the expotus. You'd think he would have had a field day with all that potential material, eight years and all, but no. He spent the bulk of the last eight years bashing republicans, particularly Newt Gingrich. He probably bashed Dan Quayle more than Clinton during the past 8 years. Shoot, even pinkos like Bill Maher made jokes about Clinton.

I'd like to know if this particular strip was was dropped by the LA Times and other newspapers that routinely drop Johnny Hart's B.C. strips when they start to cover Christianity (typically around Easter and some other holy days).
I guess that "contraversy" is divisive and "hate filled" while this latest strip airs a legitimate opinion... < /sarcasm >
If the papers felt an obligation to stand by the content always then they might be removed from criticism but the fact that the editors do routinely drop strips leaves them wide open on this one. The left can't stand to even quote their party's elected officials and here they have to put words into the President's mouth "thanking" the enemy.

The pencils are very rough (a few lines indicating general layout). This working situation (with another artist) has held since his college days. What a freeloader, most other "cartoonists" that use ghost artists at least wait until they are established and even then wait until they get overloaded or suffer an injury.
