That's what I've been saying all morning! That wasn't intended as a put down for a $5 contribution - read what I've posted in this thread (e.g. reply # 173) and Grampa Dave's 5,000 Freepers who care are needed now! thread. I've been bumping for new $5 monthlies.

In reply 164 above BADJOE posted "If we get to 5,000 monthly donors my 'puter' will blow up. And I just got a new one. : )".

In reply 171 Grampa Dave said "I guess that we can start a new thread, "Blow up BadJoe's puter by joining the 5,000 monthly donors!".

Then in 548 posted (in Grampa Dave's thread) on 12/4/01 10:08 AM Pacific by 2ndMostConservativeBrdMember said "Help us blow up Badjoe's computer!".

So each new $5 monthly brings us closer to "blowing up" BADJOE's computer - I was only joking about BADJOE's "puter" and joking about the "impact" that adding one more monthly would have on his system (BADJOE you DID understand that, right?). Ok, so I have weird sense of humor - sorry! I apologize for offending you and I apologize if the donor from Texas took offense. Every $5 monthly makes a huge difference!!
