A story so good that it deserves repeating.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... MUSIC TO MY EARS!!! <GRIN

I can just hear Herr Davis saying, "
I invented Blackouts!"
Then I can hear him saying, "Then I invented keeping the lights on after I invented Blackouts!"

Note to self before November, while waiting for elections...
Mr. Davis?
CRISIS MANAGEMENT IS NOT LEADERSHIP!!
To: ElkGroveDan
Davis appears to be imploding. This is great. Keep the pressure on him and make him auger himself into the ground. Go Simon!

And there's that Gray Davis Metamucil slogan: "Effectiveness You Can Count On."
After 4 years of counting on this depth of effectiveness, I don't think the voters would like to see another 4 more of it.
To: Publius6961
Davis added modestly that he thinks he deserves a "round of applause" for his management of the crisis. Those who have noted his dithering and fumbling don't "know squat," he said. See post #8
The chief State executive is expected to be a leader not the chief of the Keystone Kops.

"If I didn't panic, you wouldn't be able to put out your paper"
Am I the first to notice that Davis is ADMITTING he panicked? He says that if he DID NOT panic, then the newspaper would have been unable to publish. Therefore, if this quote is accurate, he admits he panicked.

My dear friend, Bill Simon is saying nothing for a very very good reason. When your enemy is pulling the ground from underneath himself, just stand back. The way Gray Davis is going in this campaign is worth more in itself than any campaign commercials Simon could cut attacking Davis' lack of leadership. After all Davis himself is making his opponent's case for him he doesn't deserve to be re-elected to a second term in office and its still not even September yet!
To: ElkGroveDan
Excellent picture!
Simon says: BUMP!
To: ElkGroveDan
Yep. The more play this gets, the better. I like the article that said Simon's campaign slogan should simply be: "Not Insane". I also wish that the Coastal Commission bribery scandal would break as to the "Doe" politician that Dan Walters has written about. Then Simon's slogan could be: "Not Corrupt or Insane.".....

Please Email me if you want me to send you some of these. I am having 5000 of them made. A self addressed stamped envelope would be required. Send Email, you will be archived and when the production run is done, you will recieve them. Allow 4-5 weeks total from today.

I also wish that the Coastal Commission bribery scandal would break as to the "Doe" politician that Dan Walters has written about. Please provide more details?
i would love more on this because...
I have maintained from the beginning that the Coastal Commission is the closest to guaranteed corruption that could be created.
To say nothing of undiluted fascism.
