Is that Episcopal priest who o'reilly exhibits, an example of no-God theorist clergy, who exclude divinity, because they can't accept a man-god/"alien" analogy? The government's purported knowledge of aliens, somehow shatters the existence of GOD, as they know "Him?"

Don't forget the humanist-secularists, who come along and tell organized religion what to teach, and try to use government to make them do it.

The Catholic church is on the hot-seat this election-- the h/s will scream about how corrupt and politicized the churches are, while JJ and his "religious" gang get a "pass" to rally liberal voters.

Well! I should think SO. After all those years of being Jerry Brown's butt boy it WOULD seem only 'natural' to him.

I didn't forget: Don't forget the humanist-secularists, who come along and tell organized religion what to teach, and try to use government to make them do it.

As I pointed out in a previous reply, these clymers are now controlling most of the Christian divinity schools and probably what the Jewish equivalent is.

I seldom watch O'Reilly so I have idea of what E Priest you are talking about. But in the E church we have far too many priests, bishops and wanna be priests who don't believe in God, Jesus, the resurrection and the old testament. At least in the E church, we have control over whom we select to be our priests and can get them fired if necessary at the local level. The Methodist people have no choice. Their bishops pick their ministers and tell them to back up what their new ministers tell them to do.

We are kind of like the reluctact conscripts who get boiling oil poured on them at the bottom of the castle gate.

Ths brought back memories of the film "Prince of Foxes" starring Tyrone Power. It must have made a hit with Black audiences.

My question to governor Dufus then is that if he is such a "practicing" catholic why does he thinks abortion is just dandy, and why he doesn't give Simon the same pass on these issues since he's catholic too.

BTTT!

Episcopalians, Methodists, any members of any religion have a choice. It is no surprise to me that many of these former Episcopalian priests are being accepted into the Catholic ministry.

You know what the sad thing is? Davis is much more serious about advancing his culture-destroying left-wing agenda than most Republicans are about advancing a decent, traditional agenda.

Gray Davis is a CINO. Or didn't you know? Yeah and the Holy Father won't excommunicate him for violating Church dogma. Hmmmm...

True enough. Conservatives are afraid of being accused of being prudes, intolerant, and homophobic. What with the state of the culture as it is, any one who stands up for traditional values takes a pounding. No wonder we let the Left run riot as it tears down every institutional pillar that props up society, including the traditional family unit.

You're right. Republicans have been beaten over the head when they are conservatives, ridiculed, slandered, emotionally crippled. Everything we do we use their playing field. I don't know how to fix it, the media is responsible for a lot of the problems. Still, it is important the we stand up for all that is decent and moral, because while politics and government are important -- and a major part of my life -- government is not the final Judge. We all have a higher calling.

God bless.

IMO Davis is merely trying to draw Simon into divisive social-issue territory.

He's louding trumpeting his anti-family, anti-life agenda in the hopes that Simon could renege on his pro-life, pro-family views, so that conservatives can stay home and Davis can get re-elected.
