Pathetic is the first thing that came to mind. The pathetic Democrats keep beating the same drums.

1) Pro-Choice is the law of the land because of a US Supreme Court decision, yet Dem supporters are to stupid to realize it, and make this the basis for voting for democrats.

2) Social Security will never be taken away, yet the Dem candidates keep telling their supporters that that is exactly what the Pubs want to do. And just like Charlie Brown trusting Lucy to hold the ball for a field goal attempt, only to have her repeatedly pull the ball away, Dem voters support Dems because they think the Dems are the protectors of S.S., while the Pubs are S.S. wannabe terminators. In this case, its the Dems that say "I'll be back" (to scare you at the next election so you'll vote for me)

3) Women's rights - Women have all the rights men do, plus many priviledges not enjoyed by their male counterparts. Just look at divorce courts and criminal sentencing, not to mention door-holding, flowers and free dating.

4) The environment - If the Dem supporters would just stop and think for a second....Hey, Why do the Pubs want to poison the water and air, don't they drink the same water and breathe the same air as Dems?

5) Education - Its a shame that Pubs want their children to be dumb and stupid. Whats that, you disagree? Well they must, otherwise they would want better schools. So lets spend another kadrillion dollars on teachers - yes the same ones that couldn't teach (math, reading, science and history) in the first place but are invaluable when it comes to teaching the need for clean needles, condums, homosexuality and last but not least DIVERSITY and TOLERANCE.

I could go on and on (Medi-scare), but I have concluded that all Dem supporters have one thing in common. They are either crimally supportive, or they don't have a memory worth a damn. Otherwise, they would remember that all the promises and allegations made by Dems during an election, are the same ones trotted out the previous 20 elections. You would think something would have been fixed by the Dems by now when the Dems were in charge, or the Pubs would have destroyed them when they were in charge.

The Dems simply remind me of Wiley Coyote. They keep falling for the same trick, episode (election cycle) after episode (election cycle). And at the end of the day, the anvil still hits them in the head, the bomb goes off in their face and they continue to fall off the same cliff and get hit by the same on-coming train or truck. But rest assured, they'll still vote Dem in the next election. Go figure....

"His opponent does not want to talk about those issues -- choice, family planning, women's health care, the environment, education -- because to do so would clearly put him outside the mainstream of California," said Clinton.

Now how would Hillary know? Based on all the years of living in California? Next she's probably going to show up in a Dodger cap swearing she was always a Dodger fan.

As for the tried and true "wrath of the soccer moms" tactic. . . I doubt the soccer moms will be interested in paying the inflated tax bill which is sure to come as a result of Governor Dufus' botched energy policy.

But wait! It's all because of the greedy Texas Enron executives who were in the pocket of George W. Bush. How could I forget?

"I am 100 percent pro-choice while my opponent is one hundred percent anti-pro-choice," said Davis.

That's the best thing I've heard since some lefty said, "We will not tolerate any more intolerance."

When money talks-- people listen. What senior cares about a woman's right to choose an abortion?--

they're more concerned that someone's going to be there paying taxes to shore up social security for their future.

"...using her popularity with women and minority voters to endorse Gov. Gray Davis in his bid for reelection in November."

It is being reported that Davis trails Simon by another 3 points since the 'carpetbaggers' visit.

"Choice" implies options. The 'Dems' only want funding for one--the 'death' choice for the innocent child in the womb. Simon wants to 'protect' the future voters of California, as well as the current ones.

"Clinton acknowledged that although she is not a registered California voter, "

She wasn't a registered NY voter either.

what he needs is votes! Neither Rodham-Clinton nor "dozens" of supporters will help him much in that matter.

No,but the "walking around money (pesos) the DNC can supply combined with "motor voter" can take care of that.

All it does is "shore up the base" that doesn't need shoring up:

Wrong,it also prepares the ground in Ca for a Bubbette! run for the WH in 2004. Bubbette! ain't wanting people to forget who she is.

Just like 9/11, We will NEVER forget. CA and NY are about the only states she could ever possibly win.

CA and NY are about the only states she could ever possibly win.

Don't bet anything on that you can't afford to lose. Remember everybody saying she couldn't even win in NY? Now picture all the women who would vote for her, purely because she is a woman. When you consider that there are more registered women voters than registered men voters, this isn't a small number.Despite what many claim, add a BUNCH of women to this group who normally vote Republican. It's a "sisterhood thing",don'tchaknow? Then think of all the dimwit independent voters whose vote is always dependent on something like "one good speech" who would vote for her to "make history". Then add all the votes she would get from dedicated Dims who would vote for a rabid yellow dog if it ran as a Dim,and the numbers really start to add up.

Ok,now add ALL the votes having Colin Powell as her running mate will add, including people who normally vote Republican but would jump at a chance to vote for a "history-making ticket" of the first woman president AND the first black VP! Now add all the people who would vote for this ticket to "prove" they aren't racists.

Nope,a Bubbette!/Powell ticket can't be beat by anything the Republicans can field. Bush can't pick Condi Rice as his running mate because the public would rightly see this as pandering by having a "token black" candidate to counter Powell. About the best Bubba-2 would be able to do would be run with Rudy Guiliani as his VP in a effort to break the Dims solid hold on the northeast. With the Dims running a woman AND a black on the same ticket, this won't work.ESPECIALLY when you consider that Bubba-2 has done everything in his power to stick a knife in the backs of his base. Many who would have normally voted for him will do the same thing they did when his loser father ran in 92. They will sit at home and not vote. I will refuse to vote for him, regardless of who is running against him,and so will many other people. Bubba-2 is going to be a one-term president, regardless.

Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
