You make an excellent point. Parental involvement is probably the most important factor in the child's educational success. Those who leave their child's education strictly to the system, leave them floundering. The parents must be a part of it.

We know of a Kali gal who took her 3rd grade girl out of a private school because she had too much homework. The teacher expected the parents to proctor and go over this homework. This gal did not want to do that. In fact she told my wife the reason they took her girl to private school was to free them in the evenings for dealing with school work.

The girl is now in a public school with no home work. The Kali Mother is now happy that her personal life at home in the evenings is not interupted by homework.
