I don't want to sound negative, but California FReepers seem to be "too busy" to do this kind of stuff.

Last year, I flagged every San-Diego-area FReeper regarding Davis's speech in Escondido - the one which resulted in the bankruptcy of PG&E.

Not one bothered to show up. Good luck.
