If Simon wins, I wonder how he'll get along with Bush. After all, Bush was supporting (gag!) Riordan.

Well, we don't have to wait for Simon to win to find out. Bush was just out here in California with Simon raising money for Simon's campaign. So far they seem to be getting along OK after the (gag!) Riordan disaster. Bush and Cheney will be out here for some more fundraisers in the next six months.

He'll get along just fine with Dubya. In fact he is much closer to Dubya ideologically than Riordan.
