San Francisco -- The co-founder of a vineyard development firm that recently obtained a $100 million investment from the California Public Employees Retirement System is hosting a $2,500-per-head political fund-raiser for Gov. Gray Davis in San Francisco tonight.

A Davis spokesman said the governor had no role in CalPERS investment decisions and that the fund-raiser was unrelated -- but a Republican Party spokesman said the matter was cause for concern.

Premier Pacific Vineyards

Well, now I have to check fine print on the labels on wine bottles to make sure I boycott the correct one.

"He contended that Davis had created a "pay to play" dynamic in state government, in which companies that want state business feel impelled to give money to the governor."

This is the Clinton standard for Demoncreeps in government now. Another name for it is extortion.

The night-school Lockyer-b*tt-up (himself a crook) won't prosecute Squat Davis. Wonder why federal won't prosecute these crooks with RICO?

I live in the wine country, and in the last ten years I have seen two factors which turn me off on the industry.

1. All of the super rich liberals who buy a vineyard or a winery or a combination of both. Then they support the lib candidates with large donations that we know about.

2. Then lib owners/companies like in this article who work 24/7 in Sacramento and DC to get some special advantage like this one.

I have been warning that CalPers will be a "depositing place" for the Bravo Sierra Used Electricity Bonds, when no one with any commons sense will buy them. Sounds like the fascist Davis has been using CalPers to increase his warchest $'s and to reward his fascist approved businesses.

Again if we had a media that did real investigations instead being pimps, whore$ and bed mates for Davis. This would have been out in the open the minute that Fascist Davis tried this illegal stunt! You bet your last Kali income tax refund $ if and when it ever came that the BEES, the LA Slimes and the SF GAYrhonicles editorial board spiked this story when it first surfaced.

ABORT THE FASCIST DAVIS!

SAYS: CalPERS is the Social Security Trust Fund, California style. Lot of paper and promises from the left, counting on 'revolution(internal or external)', or massive inflation, to bring the pyramid out from under the unfunded liability, IMHO.

"We like to elect good Democrats," he said.

Obviously, this person is paid to elicit oxymorons.
