I was at a Harris County Republican HDQ meeting all afternoon, in Houston. It was great. I get fired up being around these people! I was with Chairman of our county Republican party Yvonne Dewey and I am president of our local club. George Herbert Walker Bush was their head honcho in 1963-4 -- and some idiots claim he was never a Houstonian!

If I recall correctly, the givers of this party fundraiser just "started up" their own winery with $100 Million in seed capital from Calpers, California's state pension program.
Hey, I'd probably pay $2,500 for a plate if Davis stole a $100 Million from California employees for me, too...
