I'm betting you will find that city,state,and federal municipalities and offices are exempt from RICO suits,as are elected and appointed public officials.

Actually the RICO act CAN be used against government officials. It was done in the late 80s/early90s in Sacramento when the feds set up a bogus shrimp farming company.

The whole thing was a real tragedy. It nabbed some crooks, but at least two innocent men took contributions from the company after voting for their legislation. This was NOTHING compared to what Davis has done with the plastic pipes, the prison guards and now Oracle. I don't understand why he's skating free when good men have gone to jail for just the suspicion of far less.

Thanks for the info. I'm shocked they were careless enough to leave themselves open for prosecution under their law. I guess they probably figured nobody would use it against THEM.
