Have to admit, he DOES have pretty hair... Do you think Lockyer has an 8-by-10 cell that Davis could share with a tattooed dude who says,"Hi my name is Spike, honey?"

Oh why not! It worked for Hillary and Bill. I guess the California voters will bite.

Gov. Red Davis makes me sick. I live in Illinois but can someone send me a DUMP DAVIS bumpersticker? I'm dying to put one of those on my car just to show that Gov. Red Davis is despised throughout the USA.

Davis' announcement came a day after Lockyer returned $50,000 in campaign donations to Oracle, saying he didn't want the money to undermine the credibility of his investigation.Huh, is this normal in California.

Giving back these donations is like trying to return the money that you stole back to the bank; you're still a bank robber...

I enjoy the discomfiture, but man $25,000 is freaking chump change for Davis. He's actually got something around $25 million ready to spend on this campaign. He spent millions just to drag down Riordan in the GOP primary. I like the humor but this isn't even a drop in his bucket.

the governor decided that returning the money was "the most comfortable thing to do." Give me a break! So help me out here. If I understate my income to the IRS and I am caught, can I simply pay the arrears and say that returning the money was "the most comfortable thing to do." Beam Me Up!!

is this normal in California It's becoming normal for Democrats, and unfortunately, the rest of the country.

But spokesman Roger Salazar said Thursday the governor decided that returning the money was "the most comfortable thing to do." I am so glad that the governor has decided to do the most comfortable thing to do (for him), rather than deciding to do the right thing which would not have been quite so comfortable for him. < /sarcasm>

How are the California news papers dealing with this--front page, editorials? how about talk radio?[heard Rush talk about it today, said it was GWB`s fault] If Greyout beats this, California is over

How are the media dealing with this? In the usual way.
They displayed just the proper amount of outrage last Sunday by breaking their anti-Davis stories (on Oracle, and on the Cal-ISO asking Enron to "game the system") on a weekend when nobody would notice. Then, two days later, they changed the subject to Enron.
Clinton may be gone, but the media still know how to spin the news for their boy Davis.

Of course. He's a democrat so the prestitutes will make it all go a way. But-----if GW Bush was in the same state at the time someone he met once in college took a kickback, the mediawhores would have a feeding frenzy.
