If you control the poll, it is really easy to direct a new phoney poll.

You have your insiders who know how to use Polls as a Rat tool/weapon to drive their agendas or to weaken their enemies pick a topic. Then, they design the questions that make it appear that the population prefers the Rat agenda and dislikes the conservative side.

Then, you have your posters call on likely or maybe registered voters. (If you really wanted reality, they would call on registered voters who intend to vote in an upcoming election.) Then, you have your posters call home numbers from about 11 am to 3 pm on a working day. That way only non working rats will be called. When you have enough of a small sample to support your new agenda, you stop the polling.

Then, you air these cooked results on NBC with Mr Potatoe Head, Russert, the Rat in disguise as a moderate. (Or any of the other rat tv choices: CNNCBSABCCSPAN).

Then you have the NY Slimes, the Wash. Compost, LA Slimes carry the cooked poll stew in articles and editorials the week before the Shreiking Head programs. Then, the Rat screamers and Shreikers do their act on the Screeching Heads Gangbanging a token conservative on the Sunday Am shows.

Then, the Rats have a new issue or agenda created out of nothing to use as a political tool.

Often the polls have no reality with real issues of concern like CFR or these Enron bait and Switch polls. The public just doesn't care. So only the intellectual Beltway fools on both sides of the political spectrum get involved.

I ofter wonder if conservative talk show hosts and oped writers aren't part of the game plan to create a so called critical issue when there is no issue or concern by their audiences. They get out and tell their conservatives, that if this new critical issue is not handled by the administration, the country will cease to be. Reality is that that they like their liberal buddies have a non issue of little if any relevance to the rest of us! Your buddy, Kristol is a top game player in this.

Excellent discussion of the Rat/poll methods. By the way, did you know that Kristol was on Fox yesterday gripiing that Bush was IGNORING the war in Iraq for the domestic agenda? Unbelievable.

I am thinking to my self, why do the dems and Kristol want a war in Iraq so quickly? Isn't it funny that the big drumbeat is coming from those folks who did NOT want to go into Iraq 10 years ago?

I am a highly suspicious person. Either they think that we cannot succeed, or they are aware that we have somewhere else to go first and they are trying to cause doubt in Bush's abilities.

Kristol is the prime example of this. He pushed a masive land invasion in Afghanistan, which was not needed, and would have delayed the war, allowing many more terrorists to escape. Now that Bush has succceeded, he is on to pushing Iraq.

Something is going on here, but I can't quite figure it out.
