Got this email from the Republican Liberty Caucus here in California.

I think this is great while all this new stuff about Davis fundraising keeps coming out. Now if anyone just knew how to get this in the hands of the "bitter secretary" who wants to spill her guts :)

Oraclegate Scandal Prompts DirtyDonations.com

+ Public Invited to Report Davis Fundraising Misdeeds at www.DirtyDonations.com +

The California Republican Liberty Caucus (CA-RLC) today launched the website www.DirtyDonations.com to encourage whistleblowers to come forward and expose corruption and wrongdoing by Gov. Gray Davis' Administration. The information will help to reveal whether the Davis administration has engaged in any acts of exchanging government favors for campaign donations beyond the current Oracle software contracts already under investigation by Federal agents.

The DirtyDonations.com website will forward reports of possible wrongdoing to law enforcement and other investigative agencies, including the U.S. Attorney's office, California Attorney General, California Secretary of State, Sacramento County District Attorney and members of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.

"Gray Davis' unscrupulous fundraising appears to be costing the taxpayers millions of dollars. His administration seems to have rewarded companies who contribute to his campaign with state contracts that don't reflect the best interest of the taxpayers and that is wholly unacceptable," declared CA-RLC chairman Douglas Lorenz.

"We intend to notify state employees and employees of private companies that their cooperation with those investigating the current Oraclegate scandal is imperative so that the truth may prevail.

"In the past week, news stories have exposed additional instances where Davis' administration awarded questionable contracts, which were then immediately followed by campaign contributions from the same firms. How many instances occurred is unclear, but with DirtyDonations.com we believe law enforcement will get a better handle on the magnitude of this scandal and any criminal wrongdoing," Lorenz concluded.

The California Republican Liberty Caucus is the California chapter of a national organization that works to bring the ideals of an accountable and limited government and individual liberties to the forefront of discussion within the political dialogue. The organization can be found online at CA.RLC.ORG.
