Just got this release...

Spread the word - www.DirtyDonations.com

Be sure to contact talk radio hosts and ask webmasters to include this on their websites. My friend at the Republican Liberty Caucus here in California has done an awesome job with the people in his organization in rolling this thing out. I am so excited and I want to help him to make sure this gets reported on TV, the radio and in the newspapers!

CA-RLC Begins Advertising Campaign to Promote Whistleblower Site

DirtyDonations.com, the California Republican Liberty Caucus (CA-RLC) website launched on Monday, logged over 6,500 hits in the site's first 24 hours of operations.

The website provides a means for individuals to report tips to law enforcement and investigative agencies relating to the investigation of whether or not Gray Davis exchanges public policy favors or contracts in exchange for campaign contributions.

Among visitors to the site upon its debut were numerous individuals from Oracle Corporation.

"We are amazed at the traffic DirtyDonations.com has generated so far," announced CA-RLC chairman, Douglas Lorenz.

"We have just begun to roll out this website to the public and our promotional push will include an advertising campaign that will begin today. We also have been successful in our efforts in making employees of corporations such as Oracle, Accenture and Logicon aware of the website and we believe that some of them will come forward with information regarding their firm's contribution practices."

The DirtyDonations.com website forwards reports of possible wrongdoing to law enforcement and other investigative agencies, including the U.S. Attorney's office, California Attorney General, California Secretary of State, Sacramento County District Attorney and members of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee.

"We are distressed by the latest news that the California Teachers Association may have been shaken down for $1 million by Governor Davis and believe that a whistleblower site like DirtyDonations.com is crucial in recovering information on Davis' fundraising practices," concluded Lorenz.

The California Republican Liberty Caucus is the California chapter of a national organization that works to bring the ideals of an accountable and limited government and individual liberties to the forefront of discussion within the political dialogue. The organization can be found online at http://www.ca.rlc.org.

This is just a guess but IMHO the CRLC is going to get trashed by Davis and the biased liberal Calif. media. The SOB will attach Bill Simon's name to whatever "brand" they burn onto this organization. Let me also say I hope I'm wrong (Big time) and that the Oracle debacle has legs and starts the exposure of the corrupt Davis machine. Am I just dreaming?

Awfully thin web site at this point. Assertions without substantiation. More a stunt than a resource.

And it seems like there's no mechanism to share information.

If it's sole purpose is to collect campaign dirt on Davis, then its value to democracy is crap. If they care to research same on both sides of the fence, then I'd be interested in seeing what they collect.

Wow, I'll have to tell my friend who is associated with them some of the comments here. Maybe he can pass the word on to the rest of the folks behind the site.

All they wanted to do was get a website that would allow people who know information about Davis' fundraising to have a means by which to contact the investigators and encourage them to do so.

Nice Idea, but needs content. Maybe Ernest can hook them up with some of the indexed sites he has on Free-Republic.
