Boy, do I sincerely hope you're right! However, with memories of the limp Lungren and Dole campaigns, a candidate who seems content to lay low and let others talk worries me. Remember Him-Who-Cannot-Be-Named, and his instant-response teams, and how he was always front-and-center? Much as I despise what he represents, that's a very effective way to campaign. Invisibility worries me. Recent precedents are not encouraging to me.
Dan
I don't think that he should lay low forever. And, he has been trying to get press with his Oracle and fund-raising comments (on paper, in person, at events) but the press don't want to give him any credit.
Of course he needs to get out and start fighting. But right now, Davis is doing our work for us.
