Jee Hi Park and Susan Lee, who work for the Department of Water Resources, are not household names.

Park, a lawyer, and Lee, an energy expert, appear only as unidentified "female voices," but they are really the stars in a recorded conference call in which the state's electrical-grid managers ordered power they didn't need and stuck consumers with the bill.

FYI. Sort of Enron-in-reverse. No doubt Davis will issue a press release on this ASAP.

You are probably right about Davis or somebody needing to counteract this.

Cal Iso called DWR to ask them to game the market. Cal Iso called Enron to game the market. SMUD called Enron to come talk to them the a day or two before California Blackouts to discuss how Enron and SMUD could join forces for mutual financial benefit.

We have the Enron attorney memo's that say that Puget Sound Energy and PowerEx performed Inc-ing. May or maynot be true. We have the SEC invesigating Reliant and Dynergy. CME(??)'s CEO has resigned under possible illegal trading activities and the company has indicated that they will restate profits.

I would be willing to bet that when the dust settles, Enron is likely guilty of criminal activies. When the dust settles, I think that the State of California will not have clean hands and be as guilty or more guilty than Enron. I really hope that Feinstein and Davis start squirmy about what they have unleased with all the Enron charges.

I know that the Dem's hope they will have a simple election message for the Public. I just hope that the Republicans point out that Davis, through his appointments to the Cal ISO and DWR was also guilty of harming the people of California and the West Coast by Gaming the power market. Nevada had a blackout that was directly related to California outbidding Nevada for the last bit of electricity in the market. I hope the Republicans point this out too about Davis and his lackeys blacking out Nevada.
