Senate Budget Committee Chairman Steve Peace, D-El Cajon, is the hack who authored the deregulation bill that has now cost Californians tens of billions of dollars.

The guy’s days are numbered as a legislator, but in my opinion, he can’t leave soon enough.

Sen. Don Perata, D-Oakland, warned Republicans that if they hold up the budget and cripple state government it could backfire on them in the November elections.

Perata must be smoking something. You can't threaten a looser with a loss.

When is the last time Republicans won anything in November in California.
