Davis is either going to get re-elected or he is not.

After that huge logical statement I really should follow up. If Simon is elected he will face a monumental clean up task and, unless there is a substantial change in the legislature (which dosen't seem likely), the RATS are going to pile on Simon for not solving the problems he had promised, while voting against all legislation that would help the citizen that they...huheem.. represent. The average California RAT could give a pant load less about his/her constituents. They care about their power & the and the advancement of the socialist agenda.

Now I know this will NOT set well with Cal. FReepers, but here goes. What is so bad about Davis winning? The situation will only get worse and the socialist agenda will be exposed for all the stupidity that it really is. You can always impeach the idiot. This would be sooooo good for exposing the socialists for exactly what they are. Then of course, my Freeper brothers & sisters would have to live through that, and I couldn't bear thinking that, by wishing, I caused it. So, I am praying that Bill Simon is elected, but unless you change that dirty diaper y'all call a legislature out there, you'll still be standing on your head in the septic tank.

Yours was the same reasoning I employed when I voted for Ross Perot in 1992. If others who thought the same way had voted instead for Bush in '92, we'd have been spared Clinton and all the harm he did to our nation.

Unless something criminal about Davis surfaces or unless it is an absolutely brutal summer in CA with weeks of blackouts and other inconveniences, I believe Davis will be re-elected. People usually pick the devil they know over the one they don't and Simon is really an unknown quantity, although I think he is a good guy and would be great for the state of CA
