Simple comparison with our(CA) economy with the 37% increase in spending with the mid-teens increase in spending in the other leading state(Mass, NY) should just help drive Davis's negs up.
My wife thinks Gov. Davis posititve ad sucked...as did I.
It's always hard for me to judge because I'm biased ... I really, really, really dislike Gray Davis. But I thought his ad sucked, too. I thought that he looked sterile and unbelieveable, almost like a robot. He wasn't friendly.
And, anyway, I don't think it helps him to tout his "woman's right to choose" crap all the time. He's forgetting that half this state is pro-life -- and most of the pro-aborts are not as rapid as the pro-aborts on his staff. They are "quietly" pro-choice, and don't really want to think about it. He's forcing them to think about it, and I don't think that most people make their decisions on abortion ... except for those on both edges of the pro-life and pro-abort movement (I do consider myself a solid pro-lifer and will never vote for a pro-abort, Republican or Democrat.)
