Actually every vote for Nader in 2000 on the left coast was a take away vote from Goron!

The radical green envirals only vote for the Rats because they have been told to by their green leaders. Their relationship with the Rats is a very tenious one. If they vote for a third party green candidate out here, each of their votes take away from the rat total.

It works the same way votes for PeroRat did in 1992. Most of those votes would have been for President Bush if not sucked off by PeroRat.

That is why I would love to see the greens in Kali get 15+% of the vote this November. If this election is close, a even a 5 to 10% vote for the Green will devastate Davis's total vote %.

Good to hear from you! Are you working hard as usual this summer?

In 2000, most polls had bush comfortably ahead with nader pulling about 3 percent. Right at the end, the nader vote went to gore resulting in a very close election with nader pulling only about 1 percent.

Not true. The Greens attract a lot of people who generally dislike both the GOP and the Dems. I remember driving by a Nader rally in Santa Cruz, CA during the last big election. There was two large groups of protestors outside. One group was holding up signs that said "A vote for Nader is a vote for Bush", and the other group were holding up signs that said "A vote for Nader is a vote for Gore". Clearly the Greens don't help either party too much.
