I guess the real "value" of this article is make sure we are doing everything we can to bring Davis' weak points (and they are legion) to light and keep talking, talking, talking about how bad he is for California. I tell everyone I run into how bad Gray-out is and like to think, in my own small way, I'm counting for more than just my one vote...

Well I'm happy to read there are doubts about the poll that CSM quotes here. I was beginning to think about where I would move to if Davis won and the Dems took over Sacramento completely.

Those famous words from Apocalypse Now ring through my head as I think of that prospect: "The horror, you must embrace the horror."

Oh, we should never be complacent, especially when opposing a canny operator such as Davis.

But we shouldn't read ourselves to despair, either. I work with a sales force, and believe me, I know that their psychology is vital to maintaining high performance.

It's the same with people working on a campaign, or even cheering it on from the sidelines.
