Too many times we conservatives have fallen for a one legged stool put there by Chris Matthews, Dowd, or some other liberal pretending to be conservative. About the time we get semi comfortable on that one legged stool, they kick out that one leg.
Your observation about no praise for Simon is one of these little gems I hope to get on each visit to Free Republic. These little gems go with my little gems, and the is a revelation/reality that was not there before.
