Now that state lawmakers have wrapped up their two-month examination of the Oracle software deal, Attorney General Bill Lockyer is ramping up his criminal investigation of the scandal. (yeah sure!)

This set the stage for probably the funniest comment of the week/month/year from the SSer posing as a real AG:

``At this stage, no particular significance or negative connotation should be attached to the decision by my office to seek information or assistance from anyone in connection with the Oracle matter, and we have received very good cooperation with our investigation from state government employees and officials,'' Lockyer said.

If anyone believes that a real investigation will be done by the SS Criminal Lockyer, I have a few thousand acres of North Bay swamp land to sell you to build homes on.
