Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon has stepped up his television campaign against the Democratic incumbent, Gov. Gray Davis. In a new 30-second ad, scheduled to air statewide over the next two weeks, Simon takes aim at Davis' campaign fund raising. Following is the text of the ad and an analysis by Dan Smith of The Bee Capitol Bureau.
