The Rats are shamelessly using local officials in phony news media stunts to pressure Republican Assembly members like Mike Briggs to vote for GrayDown's phony pork-laden and tax-heavy budget. As the State Legislative Analyst just confirmed, passing this state budget in the absence of ANY real reforms would doom California to several years of budget deficits. We all know what that means --- more Enron style accounting gimmicks and tax increases down the road.
