I really think this should be over ruled by the US Congress using the commerce clause because it will affect the price of cars for me up in Washington State even though I can't vote against Davis.

Interesting proposal. There is legal justification for it, too. From The Fed’s Depression and the Birth of the New Deal

In 1942..."Ohio dairy farmer Roscoe Filburn was prosecuted successfully by the compassionate federal government for violating the Agricultural Adjustment Act by growing grain for his family’s direct use. In a unanimous decision, the now-tamed Supreme Court ruled that Filburn had engaged in interstate commerce by not engaging in it. Filburn, the Court ruled, should have purchased the grain with which he fed his cows, chickens, and family, not raised it himself. In order to permit the federal government a wide range of action, New Dealers destroyed the doctrine of enumerated powers."

I think the way it will affect the price of cars in Washington state is if your liberal legislature passes the same goofy laws. I think eastern oregon and eastern washington should divorce themselves from the parasites west of the cascades and form their own state.
