   Saunders
In a world full of labels, Saunders is herself.
A one-time registered Democrat turned Republican,
she claims no loyalty to either party
and takes pride in her unpredictability and irreverence
for big-party politics. "I'm a Republican," she says,
"but not a good Republican."

Is it really in the GOP's interest for Bill Simon to be elected governor of California?

Most assuredly. Grayout Davis is already being pinned with the blame. Simon will have four years to figure out a solution, and the GOP in Cali will receive a much needed adrenaline shot.
