I can't stress how important it is not to piss off FERC. I am now in crisis response mode for a PNW electric utility that has ticked off some FERC folks associated with its hydro license. The FERC sent a registered letter to the utility and said do the following within 20 days or FERC will start proceedings that can result in fines of up to $10,000 per day. I had some of my staff work over the weekend to get some of the responses to FERC prepared. I will be working on smoothing the waters all the rest of this week.

FERC is the 800 pound ape that goes and does what it wants. California and Gov Davis better learn this lesson.

Glad you stopped by, busy as you are.

It took FERC over one year to respond to the Cal-ISO non-independence issue, but they surely did.

I'm thinking that Davis will sue, if he can.
