Given the extreme leftist performance of the economy busting, gay rights loving, tax and spending, regulation happy, illegal alien apologist, socialist/marxist legislature in this state, it is imperative that we elect Simon as a counter to that group.

What I'm wondering is if he's got any fight in him. Consider the (appropriate) comparisons to Bush. President Bush has yet to veto anything sent to him by the leftist Senate and the moderate House. Will Simon just allow bills to become laws here or will he be willing to veto bills until the government shuts down. Simply moderating the far left legislature is enough to make him a success as Governor. Given that this state loves Dianne Feinstein (compared to Barbara Boxer, a moderate) it wouldn't surprise me if the state voted for Simon just to have divided government.

This is why I'd like to see Simon take the gloves out in this campaign. To prove that he's willing to later!

(P.S.-No I don't consider Feinstein a moderate in real terms. But compared to Boxer.....)

I'm sure Simon will take the gloves off ... have you gone to his web site to view his campaign commercials? They're great! (Especially Maids)

However, he needs to wait until people are engaged. Right now, most people in California don't really care about the election. He can't shoot his wad too early. The primary strategy was good ... it'll work in the general as well.
