Free Republic is a great example of people willing to promote conservative politics passionately. Contrary to your suggestion that the cause is dead, it seems alive and well.

Oh really? I've attended many "conservative" rallies and demonstrations. They pale in comparision to the leftist demonstrations both in size and enthusiasm. While FR is a great concept it is a day late and a dollar short.
