Uh huh. Must be a real dirtbag for selling a plant that grows wild all over the world. Right.

Right. He's a dirtbag because he broke the law. He's a dirtbag because he kept $50 million in profits after imprisonment through relatives and business partners when he was required to forfeit it to the government. He's a dirtbag because he lied to his business partners, to countless investors and his family.

The dude's supposed to be so brilliant -- he couldn't have just started with something like pay phones instead of weed?

If you think it's no big deal to smuggle pot, why don't you do it?

More to the point, the potential forfeiture of the assets put the entire business in danger.

That's key. Before the deals went any further, from out of nowhere, the question of where the co-chairman of the company is going to get $50 million had to be addressed. Hindelang finagled the 50 M's out of a former business partner HQ'd in Costa Rica.

That's what REALLY gets me, is that the press keep talking about this, and Simon wasn't even named as a defendent!!!!!!

This is a run for GOVERNOR!!

He needs to counter the media with ADDS!! Yet, we see nothing. Certainly not on any State level to counter all this. He could BUY time if he needed to. In fact, he NEEDS to. Because without some kind of counter to all the things being put out there, he is a dead duck.

I'm sorry, but I didn't think anyone could LOSE to Gray Davis. Simon isn't running a very good campaign. Those are the facts.

I'm still hoping he has SOMETHING up his sleeve, that will show he is TRULY in this.

Sorry, but I'm just saying what I'm seeing (or NOT SEEING) and believe me, we'd LOVE to see Davis gone. He NEEDS to be gone!

This should have been the easiest race in California history considering Davis's record! Yet it is still a close race. That alone defies logic. It speaks to the lack of any real campaign by Simons. Either he is getting really crappy advice, or he just isn't up to the job. This should have been a cake walk.

Believe me,.. it saddens us to feel this way. But we have a choice, we can act like Ostriches, and plant our heads deeper in the sand, or we can start letting the Simon Campaign know we are extremely displeased with his campaign. IMHO, He needs NEW managers NOW!!

I understand your feelings, but it's still three months before the election and except for political people like us, few people are following the governor's race. There is PLENTY of time to get ads up and running. It would be a waste to get them up now ... the first two weeks of the network premieres will MORE than make up for not being on tv in August ... there is a good reason the networks put on re-runs through the summer!

Don't give up on Simon. His campaign team got him through a primary that no one thought he could win, and Simon TROUNCED Riordan by 19 points -- and everyone (friends and foes) said he waited too long to get up on tv, too long before attacking Riordan, yada yada.

So, keep the faith, work hard, and we'll have Governor Simon on November 5th!

Go Simon!

Amen to that. Nobody said this was going to be easy between the evil Democrat campaign machine, the leftist press, and the candidate double-standard.

Wore mine a few times already. We can't afford to lose this race.

I learned the hard way how important it is to thoroughly know the people in your life.

My sister got involved with a man who I suspected was abusing her 5 year old son. My parents and I hired a private investigator who exposed this man's criminal record of 26 criminal convictions, including one for murder, and getting in contact with a passal of former girlfriends who said this man had physically abused their children.

The investigation hadn't yet been completed when he framed my sister for assault, she was arrested and he cleared out her house of valuables, then disappeared.

My parents and I now have custody of my nephew, 10 years old. He has been in counseling for over a year. Turns out the boy had been severely beaten and abused by a man who my sister insists, to this very day, is really "a good person".

When it comes to one's children, personal security and business, the right kind of background investigation is important - the thorough investigation!

Ah, yes, broke the law. I wonder what laws you will break a decade, or sooner, from now. Excuse me, I wonder what statutes you will break a decade, or sooner, from now. Very few break the law.

On KSFO this morning, Simon said that he would be issuing negative Grayout ads shortly. Didn't want to get too much into the time frame - or what the ads were about - as there are always dems listening and knowing the timing and the content could give Davis a leg up.

California's retarded electorate will once again, turn out and vote for Red Davis. Because to the retarded electorate, being a conservative is tantamount to being a nazi.

And did I mention that I'm a native Californian?

So am I. Did I mention that no matter how we vote, the RATS here know how to win? They call it voter fraud, and it works very well for them every election.

Did I mention that I'm sick of their cheating?

We win this election or we're toast, I fear.

perhaps you could send a couple of the news stories about this my way. the story told here is a lot of nothing to me if I am reading this right.

it seems but for the governments judgment of 50 million against this guy there would be no problem (besides the undisclosed felony)

Karl Rove's stooge Gerald Parsky is helping to scuttle Simon's campaign. Parsky is the anti-conservative who threw the state GOP's endorsement to Dick Riordan. If Simon wins it won't be with any help from GOP bigwigs.

The shame is that Simon won't touch the issue that would get the grassroots out to support him.
