Dump Davis Freep with new friends from the Simon Campaign

An enthusiastic group of young Republicans and Simon Supporters went face to face with union delegates at the Sacramento Convention Center today.

Fellow Freepers Farmfriend, ElkGroveDan and Comwatch lent support with inspiring words for Davis supporters. If I missed someone, my apologies.

We passed out invitations to our FreepMeet in two weeks to this great group of vocal conservatives. A candidate for the 9th District joined the group (pictured right - Story to follow).

Sac PD, headed by our own Sector 3 supervisor Sgt. Nick Yaranon (far right) was on hand to keep an eye on things. Checking in with the troops paid off when a rather large and somewhat confrontational group of union critters tried to break our picket line with shouts of "We Want Davis"! While shouting back, "You Can Have Him", Nick, a couple beat guys and a mounted unit put themselves between us and the unhappy campers. Thanks SAC PD... we know you're bipartisan on the job but we also know how most of you feel about Davis. I'm sorry my digital camera missed the group shot and the scene I just described. But hats off to a terrific bunch of Simon buffs and Freepers who answered the Call to Duty on such short notice. More later at The Patriot Defenders Network

I was there with Lager. We freeped those creeps, too. Say, weren't they an off bunch of people. I liked harassing the smokers! I said, "Keep puffing to pay Gray Davis' debts!" Ha! It was great! For victory & freedom!!!
