Davis led Simon by 41 percent to 34 percent in a statewide Field Poll released July 11.

Unbelievable. What are the people of Calif. thinking? Simon should be ahead 75 to 25 no matter how many adds the professional fund raiser puts out.

The article quoted two Field Polls. What it didn't mention is that out of eleven polls I've seen, those are the only two polls showing Davis leading.

Simon leads in the other nine.
