Prayers for My Niece, Please ...

If you would, FReepers, please pray for my brother's daughter, mother of two teenage girls, who was hospitalized in New Jersey yesterday for bronchitis and asthma. She was told that if she did not get to the hospital within several hours, she would die. She's been admitted but is not responding to current treatment and the Doctors do not know why.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. I pray, O God, that You would be for our beloved Becky the very breath that she needs right now. Refresh her lungs and halt the progress of her distress. Give wisdom to the Doctors and encouragement to her family ... see them through this crisis, in the Name of Jesus, I pray.

Evening Update on Becky ...

Becky seems to be improved today and the level of steroid intake has been decreased ... a full report on the results of her lung exams is expected tomorrow. Thank you, FReeper family, for your continued prayers ...

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your healing continues in Becky's lungs. May Your healing hand remain upon her, that she may soon be home again with her family. I pray for a good outcome in the reports tomorrow ... make available to her a plan of treatment and therapy that will increase her lung capacity and her quality of life, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
