John might trade that cherub for your teenager if he thinks it will get him more votes. Go for it.

Dad, why'd you throw your diaper at John F'ing Kerry?

Get ready for all the JFK camelot nonsense when Edwards finishes strong in the primary.
Frankly I am sick of JFK worship...Edwards will be compared to Kennedy over and over and over and over...
Mark my words...

John might trade that cherub for your teenager if he thinks it will get him more votes. Well, she is quite a looker. She could lock up the male 15-30 vote, no problem. I'd have to let her off grounding in order to campaign, though.

I think you're right. People I respect but who carry a displaced heart, i.e., Demonrat colleagues, have been telling me for over a year to watch out for Edwards. He's the guy they think will give GWB the toughest go of it this fall, and for that reason alone, want him to win.
They think that because he's from the south, he's the next Slick Willie, and they also think, as you observe, that his youth can make him out to be that son of a Wall Street manipulator. What they didn't predict was that Dean and McAwful would alienate the south, and what they're fighting is the cold, hard truth that Edwards is too green a political figure to actually beat GWB.

Hold on to your princess as dearly as I hold onto mine. Someday she'll bring little cherubs into your life - just don't hold 'em out a window like Edwards, or over a balcony edge like Jacko.

My GranPa worked in that mill. My Dad sued it and shut it down.

Hold on to your princess as dearly as I hold onto mine. Someday she'll bring little cherubs into your life And that, my friend, is why we parent. I'm holding tight to the belief that this too shall pass, and she will emerge from her teenage years a normal human being. I just hope she holds off on those cherubs until she's about thirty...
