Oh no ... ill-informed and liberal brainwashed youngster's will have even less impact on the vote...

Those that bother to realize this is a civic duty, and feel obligated to know and understand the issues will still vote.

The immature who feel that it's not 'cool' to vote, would likely vote for a liberal. So, this is just another liberal case that backfired.

"Do we even want the target demographic to vote?"

More than you might think. The stereotype that young people are democrats and old people are republicans is as outdated as the stereotype that working/middle class people are democrats and rich people are republicans. I think the demographic that would be affected by this is so small and so young that it is unlikely to have any effect at all, but in general, we could use all the help we can get to balance out the senior citizens vote.

That's pretty hilarious... maybe it will keep a lot of dumb and poorly informed people from voting this season.

The target demographic isn't necessarily all young people, just the ones who get all their political news from MTV.

Oh well. Most liberals are very young. Eventually most of them grow up to be conservative adults.
Might better wait till they mature anyway.
Years from now, after they become adult conservatives, they'll look back at those t-shirts and praise God they listened to them!

A while back, a civic group was trying to find ways to increase black usage of the local library. I suggested that they install "No Blacks Allowed" signs. My suggestion was not implemented, and black library use is still very low here.

Ads suggesting that those too immature to understand the issues should refrain from voting might increase voting by the young.
