Hamtramck,Mich.--Over some residents' objections, the City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to allow a mosque to send out a call to prayer to Muslims on a loudspeaker....five times a day.

The prior ones were right on I think. I agree that women should not be leaders of the church or teachers - womens lib (a secular movement) is what changed that. Not to say women do not play an important role, but that is another discussion.

Christian Arabs are currently being persecuted in Sudan for their beliefs. There are a lot of them, even in this country. It's like you're saying someone must be Catholic just because they are of Irish descent and that we must suspect all Irish of collusion with the Catholic Church.
