Is this true? (Kerry's discharge)
Posted on 09/09/2004 3:45:12 AM PDT by NImerc
I am listening to a local guy here in Pittsburgh and he just stated that Kerry's Honorable Discharge is dated March 12, 2001. Being a vet myself I know that if one gets an "other than honorable" discharge he can, after "X" number of years apply for an Honorable depending of course on the circumstances of his initial discharge. After so many years however is it likely that Kerry had his record "fixed" with an Honorable? If it was fixed why would they still date it 2001? Can anyone verify that his discharge is dated 2001 and if it is why the heck haven't I heard this anywhere national!?

"The Unknown Candidate" - remember The Unknown Comic from The Gong Show? Except that there wouldn't be a paper bag that could cover all of his face. His chin would still be sticking out!

five or six weeks ago i received a Manila envelope in the mail. don't know where it came from but I'm sure it is a credible source. the contents looked like they were copies of an original. it was dated June 16 1973. it had the initials JFK. it seems to be some kind of military discharge paper or something of that nature. thought i would send it to CBS care of Dan rather. being the nonpartisan news commentator that he is I'm sure he will do a 60 minute feature on the content since he doesn't need any proof that this document is not a forgery. sound familial

If Hilliary could get all those FBI files you know Willie could get the military ones. If nothing else they could send Sandy Berger in there, wait, do you suppose Sandy may have added something to the files of Bush and maybe taken something out of Kerry's? Inquiring minds would like to know.
The Clintons and the Democrats are well capable of doing anything and with 6000 lawyers and the MSM available to them our country is ripe to be overthrown.

I received a discharge certificate (not a DD214) when I resigned my commission. I received two DD214 - one each time I left active duty (I was commissioned in the Army Reserves) - they both (the DD214s) characterized my service as honorable ...............
SO ... where is Kerry's DD214 from the early 70s????

I can help you with this. Governor Michael Dukakis instituted a $300 award to any Massachusetts citizen serving in Vietnam, and Kerry applied for the dough almost immediately after he returned.
That's right, while he was denouncing the "criminal war" he was taking the loot for "fighting" in it.
