WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - President Bush is living in a make-believe world in his understanding of Iraq, misleading the American people and attacking Democrats on phony issues, presidential rival John Kerry said Wednesday in an interview with The Associated Press.
"Even today, he blundered again saying there are only a handful of terrorists in Iraq," Kerry said in a brief interview. "George Bush retreated from Fallujah and other communities in Iraq which are now overrun with terrorists and threaten our troops."
Bush, campaigning in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, said, "It's hard to help a country go from tyranny to elections to peace when there are a handful of people who are willing to kill in order to stop the process. And that's what you're seeing on the TV screens. You know, these people cannot beat us militarily."
Bush said the insurgents "use the only tool at their disposal, which is beheadings and death, to try to shake our will. They understand the nature of America. ... We weep when we think about the families affected by those who have been brutalized by these terrorists."

The person living in a make believe world is Kerry.
Yesterday, Kerry said that we now know there were no connections between Al Qaeda and Iraq.
He must not have read the Senate Intelligence Committee Report or the 9/11 Commission Report, both of which cited the many connections between Iraq and AQ.
A high ranking Iraqi fedayeen soldier attended at least one pre planning 9/11 meeting with AQ.
Saddam knew 9/11 was coming and where we were going to be hit.
Even the Clinton Justice Department was able to obtain an indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties to Iraq.
A federal judge has granted two 9/11 families a multi-million dollar judgement - against Iraq.
During the 90's, the mainstream press wrote about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden. Old Media thinks we can't look these things up.

And Kerry would know about "make believe worlds", hes lived in one all of his life.
No, he is right, they are 'insurgents', according to Reuters.
Walter Mitty himself talks about a Make Believe World?
Would that be a world in which Kerry is a war hero and had a flying dog and did Top Secret missions in Cambodia with the CIA? Is that the make-believe-world he is referring to?
I know Kerry has missed a lot of work the last couple of years, but can't his staff bring him up to date on issues before he goes out and makes a fool of himself?
So sick of hearing Kerry slam Bush with every breath.
Same old stuff, contradicting every thing Bush does or says.
No reason to listen to him.
You're not complaining are you?
The poll that counts. Follow the money. When Kerry starts putting money into Jersey, its all over.
Reading this, it just occurred to me that the Kerry campaign probably got the idea for this campaign from remarks that we have been making about Kerry living in a fantacy world, a la Walter Mitty, with his delusions about Christmas in Bangkok, dreams of the presidency, etc.
Not complaining, but honestly it is getting to the point where I find myself feeling sorry for the democratic party and the fact this is the best they got.
Retreated from Fallujah....Kerry, you POS, you know all about retreating, don't you!.......
He's the one who says a lot of stuff about working with allies, but doesn't seem to have a clue putting it into action, less they're socialists.
I can see it in the eyes of my brother and his wife, both extemely liberal and members of the self-proclaimed "intellectual elite". They continue to watch in disbelief as Kerry's numbers plummet and W's climb. "How can people like that buffoon" they cry. It feels like my reaction to Billary in the Nineties. Every day I remind them that eight years of W are the consequences they must live with due to the Clinton years.
Life is good...
Well, don't do anything drastic until Nov. 3 OK?
Also just remember, if a nice, all American, Christian, loving wholesome Republican, was ever down on his or her luck, there would always be a peace loving, fair minded, open hearted liberal there to step on him and then grind his foot into his face, if he got the chance.
You know, maybe Kerry is correct, maybe the French will save us!
