The Bush team has stopped painting Kerry's flip-flops as a funny point of mockery, and are back to suggesting it would make Kerry an unreliable commander-in-chief.
View it here.
Transcript:
President Bush: I'm George W. Bush and I approve this message.
John Kerry:
"It was the right decision to disarm Saddam Hussein, and when the President made the decision I supported him."
"I don't believe the President took us to war as he should have."
"The winning of the war was brilliant."
"It's the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time."
"I have always said we may yet even find weapons of mass destruction."
"I actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars before I voted against it."

How can John Kerry protect us
when he doesn't even know where he stands?
It seems like a much shorter version of the eleven minute tape that the RNC released during the Democratic convention.
There are better Kerry quotes on Saddam. In the 90's he practically demanded that Clinton remove Saddam with or without UN approval. Maybe they will use that at a later date.
Saw this ad first thing this morning. It's GREAT! Using Kerry's own words against him VERY effectively.
Awesome ad! This will probably cause Kerry to flip out during the debates. I can't wait until that question is asked. Good strategy to keep defining Kerry this way. He is his own worst enemy.
How about a Polo Match, then?
Vote John Kerry for a Stronger Sportier America
Great ad! Keep it up.
The Bush campaign has gone to an all new low. They must be desperate. Imagine, using the opponents own words taken verbatim from his own mouth. You folks might think this kind of unfair mud slinging is okay but I for one will not participate. Bush has again lost my vote.
LOL!
ROFL! That is exactly the response I have seen from the DNC about other adds, its so funny! They are so thin skinned...
Aw, you'll get over it.
So are you a Democrat or a Constitutionamalist?
I think he's a sarcastic Republican.
Juvenile!
I figured but was just playing along. I liked the part about losing his vote again, hear that often here even when no election looms.
Does it matter ? Bush does something everyday that loses my vote. In fact there are a number of things he doesn't do each day that loses my vote. By the end of his first term he would have lost my vote about 1,460 times.
That was the part that made me laugh the hardest.
It had the intonations of this freeper, John Gault, who was finally booted a while back.
ROFL!
Reminds me of the very effective spots that highlighted George McGovern's flip-flops in the 1972 election.
HeHeHe. I just heard it as I read it. It's good.
In a related development, John Edwards is suing the Bush-Cheney Campaign for using Kerry's words in a copyright infringement lawsuit.
