Havent voted yet but had a great experience at the dentist office. REALLY. Was doing paperwork, wearing *W* 2004 cap, there was 1 other person in the waiting room, tall thin Gent who looked about 70. When I finished my paperwork he asked me if I had voted yet and I said no, I was at work at 5:00 this morning so I'd go this evening. Said he had voted absentee. He commented on my hat. Pulled a photocopy of a picture from his wallet, said "this is who I voted for".The picture was of him with W and Laura.
I asked what the occation was, he said he was at the dedication of the WWII memorial, he was in the same unit as Laura's father.(..goose bumbs..) He was 81 years old. I gave him some positive thoughts regarding the last polls I'd seen and wished him a good day, wished I could spend an hour or two with him but had to get to work.
