The problem is that Moore is a Democrat from Johnson county. Of course the dems win the vote in Wyandotte and Leavenworth.

For the first time that anyone can remember, Moore won in Johnson County as well, 50% to 48%. He took about 70% of the Wyandotte vote and 68% of the Douglas County vote (Leavenworth is in the 2nd District) Kobach ran a really, really bad campaign and paid the price for it.

Do you think Koback was hurt by the close primary? From what i hear this may have been the problem. I don't live in the Kansas anymore so i forgot that the 3rd was readjusted. With Douglas Co in the mix (read: Liberal KU professors and brainwashed students) it might be hard for a Rep to win.
