These precincts are in Pasco County, just north of Tampa- St. Pete, a county which went for Gore in 2000.

And Bush is ahead? That is encouraging.

FOX is saying Virginia being too close to call may be a bad omen for Bush. Ugh!

FL 55/44 is a good start. I hope Florida votes like Georgia. There's a lot of military based in Florida because there's no income tax here.

With 1.33% of precincts in Bush up in Virginia 54 - 45%. Just not enough results in to call yet.

A 4 Point lead in an Exit Poll with no actual voting data to back it up is too close to call, IMHO.

"I promised God that if President Bush wins, I'll quit smoking on Saturday. I hope I have to!"

That's funny. I did too.

I figure if the race goes the other way, I might as well keep puffing. LOL.

That makes three of us. I quit smoking a month ago, and started again when the Yankees lost Game 6 of the ALCS! ;) If Bush wins, it's back to being smoke-free. If Kerry wins, I'm gonna need to smoke to get through it all!

I'm drinking heavily, either way. This is the kind of night for which alcohol was invented

I've actually considered it tonight and I don't drink.

Could get exciting around town if I do.

During and after the 2000 count the local democrats were outrageously drunk, especially the one I just campaigned HARD against.

Many precincts have announced they will NOT be counting absentee ballots in FL tonight.....because they are too overwhelmed by voter turn-out. The GOP thinks they have at least 130,000+ votes for GWB in those votes.
